Metro Transit to give free rides to Holidazzle parade Tuesday, 11 December 2007

Need a ride to the Holidazzle parade Saturday? Don't worry, Metro Transit has you covered - the agency is offering free bus and light-rail train rides to the parade.

Metro Transit is the parade's main sponsor Saturday. Free rides will be offered between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Metro Transit buses and trains, as well as Minnesota Valley Transit Authority buses.

The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. on Nicollet Mall between 12th and Fourth streets.

At the parade, the agency will feature one of its new Go Greener hybrid-electric buses, along with the holiday Twinkle Bus, which is decked out for the season in some 20,000 lights and snowflake-covered hubcaps.
